What You Need
1 lb. (450 g) cubed stewing beef
1 onion,chopped
1 garlic clove (or 1 tsp. minced garlic)
dash(or 2) of Worcestershire sauce
1 cup chopped fresh mushrooms
1/2 cup 25%-less-sodium beef broth (I didn’t have any so I used oxo today)
1/2 cup (1/2 of 250-g tub) Philadelphia Herb & Garlic Cream Cheese Spread
1 Tbsp. flour 225 g (1/4 of 900-g pkg.) fettuccine,(or noodle of your choice ~ I used rotini tonight) uncooked
Make It:
PLACE meat, onions and mushrooms in slow cooker. ADD broth; stir. Cover with lid. Cook on LOW 6 to 8 hours (or on HIGH 3 to 4 hours). Meanwhile, cooking pasta as directed on package, DRAIN pasta. omitting salt, about 20 min. before ready to serve meat. Mix cream cheese spread and flour. Add to meat mixture; stir until cream cheese is completely melted and mixture is well blended. Place pasta in large bowl. Add meat mixture; toss to coat.
(now because I have a family of 6 and big eaters, I did make double!)
Some of the ingredients I used

I chopped my beef again in 1/2 of what was done at the store

I always brown my meat (directions don’t call for it, but I do it)

Beef, mushrooms, onions, garlic, beef stock mixed with hot water, pepper,
Worcestershire sauce into the crock pot

Mmmm Looks YUMMMYYYY!!

So after all is said and done….and I’ve eaten ….. only thing I did NOT do was add salt! (I forgot) and honestly it really didn’t need it!!
So out of 5 people that ate it…. (Daughter was out for the evening)
1. Hubby: liked it…he added Montreal steak seasoning to it (2 servings)
2. Me: Liked it…..very filling and yup, I’d make it again!
3. Oldest son: Liked it, ate 2 servings.
4. Middle son: when I asked “So?? Did ya like it?” He gave me thumbs up!
5. Youngest son: liked it….he ate a bowl of plain pasta and then a bowl with the meat and cheese spread!!
So my rating its 5 stars ★★★★★
